in a Barrier-Free Space

About course

Current global events influence people’s lifestyles; therefore, they have to obtain new skills in order to adapt to new realities and fulfill their potential successfully.

Furthermore, teachers, educators, and facilitators must take the new needs of their students into consideration while developing their curriculum and creating lesson plans. Hence, they are in constant need of seeking innovative methods and approaches.
This course helps educators break the barriers and start teaching outside the classroom. It touches upon inclusion and diversity, social-emotional learning, effective online tools, civic engagement and community, and effective teacher collaboration. The course consists of five weeks; each week contains two lessons. Materials include short but informative videos, a selection of interesting articles, as well as check-up tests. The creators of the course share their own teaching experience and offer case studies. Additionally, they involve international expertise and present interviews with American and European specialists. Thus, you will benefit a lot by learning from different educators.
